Glee: Bigger, better and more Gleeful than ever!

Glee is back: Sunshine is my new fave!

I didn’t think it was possible to love Glee more than I already did, but last night’s season opener was such a triumph, I’m literally counting down the hours until the next episode...

Finn looked hotter than ever, Santana got some laughs with her new fake boobs, Brittany just excelled at being Brittany and the triumphant return of Quinn to head Cheerio were all favourable highlights.

Add into the mix a super annoying Rachel and Sue Sylvester back to her scheming best with Will (more on that unlikely pairing later) and Glee is sure to break all ratings records for S2.

First things first though- how much weight has Lea Michelle lost? I'm loving the new fringe and less 'cutesy' wardrobe (although socks and loafers will never work Rachel, take note) but to me she's looking a bit too skinny.

Maybe that's why she was so intimidated by newcomer, Sunshine. Not only can this gal belt a tune ('Listen' was utterly spellbinding and 'Telephone' was just plain hilarious) but she can also work the Geek chick look to perfection.

Huge glasses, berets, stripy socks and cute pinafores; she's basically a cuter version of Rachel and much more likable.

Speaking of likable characters, Tina and Mike paired up was a surprising twist for the start of S2 and I have high hopes for seeing more of his abs as we go on... yum.

New character Sam made little impression on me though, despite the Bieber haircut, killer bod and OMG Angelina lips- hilariously noticed by Puck may I add. Maybe he'll grow on me, but right now I could do without the distraction!

The short lived friendship between Will and Sue was entertaining for a while, but I kept wanting her to pick on his hair, his enthusiasm, his annoying habit of always doing the right thing, anything which would make me LOL basically.

Thankfully the two are already back at war, just in time for the Britney themed episode that's to air next week. I've seen the previews, I've read the reviews and yes Glee fans, it really is that good.

Till next time...
