Doctor Who Review: I can't wait for Autumn!

Doctor Who: Copyright BBC

This is something I have kept under wraps until now, but feel it's time to come clean... I am a massive fan of Doctor Who.

There we go, I said it. I'm a cult geek and proud of it! Last night's thrilling mid-season finale had me clinging onto my sofa for dear life, as the Doctor went to war.

Let's rewind a little bit. Last week ended with the shock that Amy wasn't Amy and hadn't been since the start of this series.

She was a ganger and the real Amy was about to give birth in a military hospital watched over my a creepy woman with an eye patch.

Fast forward a week and the Doctor is mighty pissed off. He tears apart the universe, calls in old favours and has Rory dressing up as a Centurion once again (as you do) because he is so angry.

Interesting way to show it, but still it was very effective. Once his companions took out the military, some monks caused a distraction and creepy eye patch lady once again fooled the Doctor.

That scene where Amy realised her baby wasn't real and that her child had actually been kidnapped was heart breaking.

But still the biggest reveal was still to come- River Song's identity. Now, call me a touch slow, or maybe I'm not as big a geek as I thought, but I did not see this coming.

I can't deny it was shocking and a great twist, but trying to picture it- the adult River Song talking to her younger parents?! Thank god we have the summer to try and figure it all out!

Daisy Lowe Models for Biba

Daisy Lowe models for Biba

My, she's a busy bee isn't she, that Daisy Lowe?!

Between snogging the face of a certain Matt Smith and modelling for her mum's Peacock range, the gorgeous model is now the face of Biba.

Launching exclusively for House of Fraser today, the iconic brand has been given a makeover for the noughties.

Full of fabulous print dresses, rich fabrics and embellished tunics Daisy is the perfect fit for the range.

Can I have two of each please?!

I'm loving the fab leopard print looks Daisy is rocking above; how sixties chic for the modern day!

Weekend Fashion Round-up

Daisy Lowe modelling Pearl Lowe for Peacocks

Goodwood Goss
Aww how cute. Matt Smith turned up to support his girlfriend and vintage fashion icon, Daisy Lowe at Goodwood over the weekend as she took to the runway. Modelling lines from her mum, Pearl Lowe's Peacock's range- totally lush btw- Daisy proudly strutted her stuff, while Matt looked on besotted. I sense wedding bells...

Strictly Goss/ Jungle Fever/ X Factor News
You know Autumn is fast approaching when the reality shows start popping up everywhere. With this in mind, I have some gossip for you fashion fans- Kelly Brook is rumoured to be Cha-Chaing her way back to Strictly (think of the sexy outfits!) while Nicole Scherzinger has apparently been asked to extend her X Factor stint by becoming a mentor later on in the year. Oo-er what will Cheryl say?! Finally fashion flops Jedward are all set for the jungle. As long as they stay clear of those plastic red suits, I'm all for them getting covered in bugs. Although if you fancy reliving the OMG Britney moment from last year, I've been kind and posted below. You can thank me later!

Net- A- Porter
One of my favourite browsing sites- you know, would love to buy but can’t quite afford anything- has been sold for a rumoured £350million. You’ve got to give its creator, the ever stylish Natalie Massenet her dues- she spotted the online shopping gap and filled it rather nicely with vision and 10 years on, she’s worth a cool £10million. Damn, don’t you wish you’d thought of it first?!

Suri Cruise: Style Icon
For a four year old, Suri certainly knows her mind and what she wants she gets, when it comes to her fashion choices. Apparently Suri is so clued up on style, she picks out Katie’s outfits for big events and if a dress isn’t quite to her liking, demands for it to be altered. You've seen the Devil Wears Prada right? Well, lets just say she's a Miranda in the making me thinks...

Rosie Webster to get steamy!
Now I very rarely catch Corrie anymore, but when I do this little minx always seems to be stirring it up with her sexy corsets and tarty outfits. I found it hugely uncomfortable to watch her seduce her teacher, John Stape-actually, cringey beyond belief would be more accurate- and now she's at it with Jason Grimshaw! I say, what would Sally think?!
