Big Fat Gypsy Weddings: A spray tan too far?

Sam's amazing wedding dress! Copyright Channel 4

Blimey, people are a bit miffed about last night's BFGW aren't they?!

Personally I loved it; it had everything packed into that hour including the mother of all wedding dresses- a pink meringue which lit up at night and included moving butterflies on the bust. Brilliant!

What everyone's getting worked up at however is the little girl getting a spray tan at the tender age of six.

I'll admit, that's damn young- but it's not like it was against her will and it was for a special occasion.

Now before you all shout me down, just think what you were like when you were younger. I definitely tried on more make-up than I should of and I definitely wore clothes which were inappropriate, so what's the difference here?

She doesn't wear make-up every day, nor does she go for spray tans and generally no, she doesn't wear revealing clothes from what I saw.

I'll agree the dancing outfits and the moves were disturbing- those are the kind of dances you see by drunken ladies on the pull, not by young girls at a tea party.

For sheer entertainment and a really fascinating insight into traveller life, this programme is amazing and a real hit with me and half of Twitter if the tweets last night are anything to go by!

It's all about the OTT weddings for me, how about you?

Is X Factor's Cher a diva?!

Cher Lloyd: Teen Diva? Copyright ITV

Oh dear. There is a new storm a-brewing ahead of this Saturday's X Factor and would you Adam and Eve it- it involves Cher.

You know, Cher- the one who has been called (unfairly in my view) mental, fragile, untalented, a Cheryl wannabe? That Cher.

This time though it's been revealed that she threw a strop last week when the stylists tried to put her in something she didn't feel comfy in.

In fact the little dynamo went on stage in her own clobber in the end, which is interesting considering one newspaper this week commented that Cher was the only one to escape the stylist's unflattering looks.

Well, now we know why! Cher even borrowed Cheryl's shoes for her performance, which certainly takes her admiration for the star to a new level.

She's already been labelled a diva, and this story is certainly not going to raise that many eyebrows if people have already made their mind up about the teen.

Personally I think she needs to tone down the caked up face of make-up, relax in a pair of jeans and let her hair be a bit flat for people to really warm to her.

As for her position in the comp- she deserves to be there after last week, whether she can hang on for the next ten weeks is a different story though...
