New Fragrance Alert! Jo Malone’s Peony Suede Blush
Around this time every year I get a little fidgety. Not just because however old you may get, the thought of September still conjures up back to school nightmares (shiver) but because Jo Malone usually launch a new fragrance around this period.
I’ve snapped up Pear & Freesia, Blackberry & Bay and Cherry Blossom colognes over the years, but oh, the beauty of the latest one to hit the shelves is just something else!
Peony Suede Blush is set to land in store officially on 2nd September and there is already a waiting list despite the hefty price tag attached.
As a loyal disciple of Jo Malone I consider it a necessity that my name is down on this list so I can own the latest ‘it’ scent, especially if a spritz of this will magically start shooting flowers from my hair like the model below.
There is some comfort in the fact that this is a permanent edition to the range and not a limited scent, otherwise it would candles at dawn trying to bag the last few fragrances, which has happened to me on more than one occasion. (Lets just say there was some unwomanly-like tactics involved and leave it there...!)
Anywho! Check out the pretty pic below and start planning your ethereal daydream!

Royal Wedding Scents Revealed!

While I was cooing over the dress, the hair and the make-up on last Friday’s extravaganza, some clever people were finding out other, smaller details about the Royal Wedding.
Namely, which scent the bride was wearing! Ahh yes, this didn’t cross my mind because well the McQueen was far too overwhelming to even consider other thoughtful touches that had gone into the Bride’s overall look.
Anyway, said fragrance is called White Gardenia Petals by little known British brand, Illuminum. Billed as a mixture of coconut, Jasmine and amber wood- the perfume, as you may have expected, is now sold out completely.
In fact it even has a two week waiting list now that the Duchess of Cambridge has given her Royal seal of approval to it.
Not only is she a fan of this fragrance, but also of Jo Malone. Kate apparently filled the Abbey with their signature candles and provided luxury soaps and hand washes for the guests to use in the VIP bathrooms.
How posh. I think I may light my Jo Malone candle in appreciation… well it would be rude not to wouldn’t it?!

Christmas Style Countdown: 6 days to go!

For those of you stuck in the snow at this current moment, unable to move and maybe looking at ways to pass the time- may I suggest a touch of internet shopping?!
Seriously, it may have saved my life this Christmas. Not only have I provided plenty of hints to my loved ones as to what I'd like Santa to bring me, but I've also managed to get a fair amount for other people too.
I know, it's never much fun shopping for other people, but at least I don't feel as guilty spending it on someone else!
Today I'm thinking my cousin would very much appreciate the joys of Jo Malone. Another little discovery of mine earlier this year, let's just say I'm a wee bit hooked on their scented candles.
Lime Basil & Mandarin all the way me thinks...

Robbie Williams launches scented candle range

If ever two things shouldn't be put together, then this surely backs it up: Robbie Williams has designed his own range of scented candles.
Apart from quite possibly being the most bizarre fashion news story this year, when the heck has he found the time to turn designer?!
Fresh from too-ing and fro-ing with his Take That chums and taking the world by storm once again (only after rejoining the boys, I might add) this new little side line has been launched just in time for Xmas.
Forgive me, but he ain't exactly Jo Malone and quite honestly naming your candles after each of your song hits doesn't exactly inspire me!
But if you do fancy giving them a go, check them out here
