LFW: Ashish’s Fast Food Catwalk

Ashish SS11...are McDonald's in fashion?!

You’ve got to love Ashish. Always one to go one step further on the runway, his London Fashion Week SS10 show treated us to fast food on the catwalk.

Bet you never thought you’d see the words ‘fast food’ and ‘catwalk ‘in the same sentence, but this one designer has seemingly achieved the impossible!

He sent cowboy boots with both the McDonald’s and Heinz Baked Beans logo emblazened all over them!

Utterly brilliant and bonkers at the same time. I know of only two women who would probably give them a go though- Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

Considering Lady G has experimented with raw meat and KP has dressed like both a banana and fried egg, they are clearly the right clientele for this kind of fashion!

The Inbetweeners: Fashion Show Review

The Inbetweenwers: Copyright E4

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was for last night’s brand spanking new episode of The Inbetweeners.

So when 10pm rolled around I did a little cheer for the return of arguably the funniest show on TV.

What was my verdict? Well, I can confirm dear readers that Will and co. still got it!

Despite a few bits of dialogue which felt forced at the start, the combination of Jay’s hooped earrings and Neil attracting paedo Kennedy again made it a triumph.

All that was of course nothing compared to the fashion show, which saw Will compromise his morals to strut his stuff in the worst clothes ever to be seen on a catwalk.

Seriously, the most hilarious thing wasn’t the psycho in the wheelchair or even Jay’s vain attempts to become a model- it was the fashion itself.

Aside from the HORRENDOUS clothes, the LOL moment came from Simon in his speedos.

Even writing that sentence brings a tear of laughter to my eye. In a top hat, dog collar and tight shirt, the sight of Simon giving it his all on the catwalk, with one bollock hanging out next to a very tarty Carly will stay with me forever.

The ball incident will go down in history as one of the funniest moments ever. I think the fact he was oblivious throughout- despite the chill he must of felt- is what made it sooo unbelievably cringey!

One of the best episodes ever in my view… keep ‘em coming boys!
