This doesn't make sense to me- Armani recreating Chanel?! But hey, that is what has happened thanks to the designer's relationship with Mrs Tom Cruise- aka Katie Holmes.
Stay with me on this... Katie is appearing in a new four part biopic of The Kennedys this month, playing the much coveted part of Jackie O.
Anyway, to play the lady herself- the now iconic pink Chanel suit needed to be recreated, so who better to turn to than, er, Armani?!
Apparently, when he found out Katie was doing the project he asked to design the costumes, which included one of Jackie O's most referenced outfits of all time.
It's all wrong somehow, and as The Telegraph hinted at, surely Karl Lagerfeld would have been more appropriate?!
Still, no doubt I will be tuning in for some of the most epic fashion to grace our screens since Mad Men finished for another series.

Natalie Portman dazzles in purple!

Very few women can pull of plum when they are heavily pregnant, but Natalie Portman dazzled on the red carpet last night.
Deservedly picking up the Best Actress gong, Natalie looked stunning in the plunging gown by Rodarte, perfectly showing off her newly found curves.
Halle Berry also topped my fashion hot list, as did Reese Witherspoon in simple Armani Prive.
I loved Cate Blanchett's Givenchy frock, despite what some of the other fashion eds have been spouting about the unusual colour scheme.
It's hard to say who came out completely on top, as let's face it, The Oscars are never going to be awash with high-street frocks and dodgy hair extensions are they?
No, everyone made an effort, it's just a question of taste in the end. My fave lady of the moment, Helena Bonham Carter looked fabulous in my eyes- collaborating with Oscar winning costumer designer, Coleen Atwood on her dress was a genius move.
Inspired by the 1880's, it was unique, Gothic and the perfect remedy for all the fussy and OTT frocks on display.

VMAs Fashion Gossip!

After last year’s antics at the VMAs (you know Kanye West gate crashing Taylor Swift’s speech, Lil Mama climbing the stage while Alicia Keys performed) who would of thought this year could top it?!
As usual, Lady Gaga was the primary source of entertainment in her many outfits- the most shocking of all being a dress made entirely of meat.
Looking like Ross Noble’s stand-up incarnation had come to life, Gaga teamed her meaty dress with some furry boots and mismatched fishnet tights.
Now if she hadn’t already done the whole meat bikini thing last week for Vogue Japan it may have had more of an impact.
That said she did totally wow in a regal Alexander McQueen gown, complete with headdress and 12inch platforms, which drew gasps from the audience as she arrived with her entourage.
And when she picked up her award for Best Pop Video award she pulled out all the stops in stunning black leather Armani Prive gown.
In other fashion news, Katy Perry decided to pay homage to her hubby-to-be Russell Brand, by painting him on her nails. Bless!
Others who impressed me on the night was the stunning Florence Welch. Now, this lady is all about the quirky but last night she looked like she belonged at the Oscars.
A sweeping gold Jewel-encrusted mermaid gown totally stole the show, even though she was competing with the likes of Gaga and Perry. Way to fly the flag for the Brits Flo!
