It was only a matter of time before Frankie Cocozza left the X Factor; whether it was going to be by public vote or the show's bosses, however was unclear until now.
The wannabe rock star has been shown the door by producers for apparently breaking competition rules.
Could it be that his wild party antics have 'glamorised drinking' or that his swearing on live TV has caused the producers to snap? Perhaps, it's just that he can't sing, and that on a singing show is breaking every rule in the book.
Will I miss him? No, not in the slightest. I never understood what people saw in him and judging by my friends' reaction to him week on week, they didn't get it either.
So, with the departure of X Factor's resident bad boy, Gary is down to two acts which will no doubt delight Louis.
I only wish this news had come earlier and we could have saved Johnny for many more weeks of entertainment.
Ahh well, you can't have it all I suppose...
