A friend text me tonight and said, "This episode of Apprentice is right up your street, so I expect to see lots of fashion blogging".
So, here we are dear readers. A bit of blogging about The Apprentice this week and how it went all fashionable up in Manchester.
Cue some slagging off about those up North from Jamie; apparently we're so far behind London we still wear shoes in nightclubs. Colour us stupid, or you know, him stupid for saying such a ridiculous thing in the first place.
Anyway onto the actual fashion itself, and scary Paloma lead one team of twits into picking men's suits recycled into er, men's suits and some cutesy dresses which went down a treat.
Liz, aka the Sales Queen lead the other team, opting for glitzy frocks and vintage attire, which just so happened to secure them victory.
God knows how, what with Tanorexic Liz modelling the clothes and Stella waving like a maniac in the window display, but hey sequined goodies speak for themselves, as does an additional 20% off when you buy... Barbie-like she may be, but stupid she is not!
I spent most of the hour, coincidentally, trying to spot myself wandering around the Trafford, but alas it was not to be- the one day I chose to give it a miss! Gutted.
Back to the task in hand and Alex, the little gem that he is, managed to blag his team a bloomin' promo video showcasing the store on a big screen every 15 minutes, and they still lost the task.
He did look a little lost though, when he was trying to drum up business: "Hello, er, Hi girls?" Cue girlies running away in fear...
Maybe it was his hoodie-come-suit-jacket that terrified the customers away, or maybe it was his air of desperation.
Anyway, when it came down to the boardroom, Paloma royally stabbed our cutie in the back calling him an 'irritant'. Giggle.
Nick, bless him, then came to Alex's rescue with "He wasn't completely irritating, no". Bravo!
So it was nasty Paloma who got the boot, even though she is the only lady I know who can rock plum lipstick. Surely that was a reason to keep her in Lord Sugar?
No?! Ok, if you have to make it all about the business, roll on next week. Until then, check out this highlight clip from the BBC, where Nick compares Stella to a lady of the night in Amsterdam.
Nice summing up x
