The Apprentice Fashion: Week Three

The Apprentice: Week Three Copyright BBC

I may be on my own here, but I’m finding this series of The Apprentice a tad dull. There are certainly characters in this year’s show- Melissa, Paloma etc- but the tasks all feel eerily similar.

That said, I won’t stop watching, because I am an addict- simple as. Car crash TV at its best both on the tasks and in some cases, with the girls and their wardrobe choices.

Here’s my verdict on the remaining girlies...

Paloma: Slick, stylish and the villain of the piece now, after she stabbed poor old Shibby in the back. Paloma is dominant and groomed to perfection; although I think her shirt and trouser combo is starting to get a wee bit boring each week now.

Liz: She reminds me of someone I can’t yet place, but I will get there with it! She seems naturally stunning, even if she must get up at like 2am to slap on that make-up. I love her smart business attire though; simple shift dresses and tailored pieces make her my early fave.

Melissa: One reporter had it bang on- a female Gok Wan. Melissa is utterly terrifying with her manic quiff and scary specs; all rounded off with a rather manish wardrobe and walk. Baffling, but her one shoulder dress she wore for her treat last night was actually pretty impressive.

Sandeesh: Very scary eyes and not much else to report about this eerily quiet contestant. Maybe she will make an impression on me next week.

Stella: I love this lady. The way she lead the boys last week was pure genius and despite the power dressing, complete with platinum locks and bright red lips she is one to watch without a doubt.

Laura: Very lucky to not get fired last week, and as one of the younger contestants I had hoped she would up the ante in the fashion stakes. Instead I get boring grey trouser suits and unimaginative hair. Snore.

Joanna: I liked her in the first episode, but completely went off her last week. This week she seemed to disappear into the background altogether, which is a shame because I quite like her cute shift dresses teamed with fierce heels. As soon as she finds a balance between mouthy and silent, she could well go far.
