I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Helena Bonham Carter does not want to be a fashion icon or victim, she just simply dresses for herself and no-one else.

If I get irked about the amount of ‘what were you thinking?’ articles written about her on a daily basis, she must be completely sick of it.

Yes, she wore different coloured shoes at the Globes, yes, she had crazy hair and yes she had an odd puffball dress on, which was Viv Westwood by the way, but to be honest she gave us a break from the rest of the Hollywood dolly clones who were out in force!

I heart HBC, I hope you do too!

Gwen Stefani lands L'Oreal deal!

It was only a matter of time before L'Oreal Paris snapped up the gorgeous Gwen Stefani to be one of their spokespeople.

That gal knows how to rock a red pout and now she's signed on to promote their Infallible La Rouge Lip Color.

I was getting pretty disillusioned with their choice of L'Oreal girls when they signed up Cheryl 'limp, lifeless' Cole, but now Gwen's on board, they've rocketed in my estimations.

And it seems she's pretty happy with her new role too, as she gushed: "I can’t believe I get to be one of the L’Oréal Paris girls," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

No promo pics have been released yet, but her first ad for the brand is due to debut during the Golden Globes live telecast this Sunday.
