X Factor: So who won Sunday's fash-off?

See, I told you Nicolo would go.

The poor lad looked shocked to hear the results, but I along with millions of other people just didn't get him. Much more of a surprise was FYD being sent packing, who actually gave a stomping performance when pitted against Katie.

Much stronger vocally than the previous night, but amazingly it was Louis who put through someone, who by his own admission, thought was more 'style than substance'.

Now, I may regret this but I have to eat a (very) small portion of my words when it comes to Katie.

I liked her song choice and thought it was sung very well indeed. I also loved the asymmetric olive/mushroom coloured gown, which was soooo elegant on someone so scatty.

She looked normal and pretty, not like some crazy person who has just put on everything in her wardrobe to no great effect.

But, and here's the but- she is quirky and they shouldn't lose that about her. Keep the lovely frocks coming, but give her some wacky accessories to jazz it up. That way everyone wins.

As for round two of Dannii v.s Cheryl, the Geordie lass had it for me. That stunning lace green mini-dress teamed with purple velvet Louboutins was to die for, while Dannii's prom dress from her own line was sweet, but I think it was overshadowed by that massive hairpiece. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

So, now we kick off the whole process again until next Saturday... who do you think is emerging as the early favourite? Personally, I think There's Something About Mary...

Sorry, couldn't help myself!
