Oo-er I didn't see this coming; a Sherlock Holmes who is a bit of a hottie and knows how to dress.
Having been bullied into watching last night's finale, I found myself wanting more and was pretty darn furious when they ended on a cliffhanger- who makes three episodes for a series anyway?!
Anyway, I digress. Having gone back and watched the first two episodes I came to two conclusions; Martin Freeman is adorable and Benedict Cumberbatch is now my new secret crush.
Sorry Clarkson, you have been replaced by a curly haired, blue-eyed bloke who works a tailored coat and scarf.
It totally caught me by surprise and now I'm left wanting more- more murder mystery, more of Watson caught up in hilarious mishaps (he now has an ASBO after last week's episode) and of course Sherlock being all brooding.
He doesn't intentionally set out to be the brooding hero; in fact he's heartless, brutal and on occasion- highly annoying, but like so many women before me, I've made the fatal mistake of finding that twistedly attractive.
Aside from those quality characteristics, Sherlock's also a pretty snappy dresser. Only he, and maybe Chuck Bass, who coincidentally is another crush of mine can work silk PJ's.
Perhaps I only get the hots for those who don't stick to the norm- you know the ones who are a bit edgy, cool and well...weird.
Bring back Sherlock for series two I say and make him wackier with an earring or something; the freakier the better in my view!
