The Inbetweeners: Simon dresses like a prat...

Oh dear... not again Simon! Copyright E4

They really should consider renaming The Inbetweeners 'Simon's fashion disasters' as this week brought us another comedy gem courtesy of this fine young fellow.

First there was the unfortunate ball hanging out of speedos incident, then last week it was all about his Pete Doherty hat and this week... well, they dressed him up to look special.

Literally, he looked like he couldn't coherently put an outfit together; tight shorts, a checked shirt- complete with bow tie- a tight bright pink cardigan and to finish off the look, some thick black 'geek chic' glasses.

At least he had the sense to look very uncomfortable in his new get up, hilariously helped along by the very gay shop assistant deciding to take photos of him, to show how his 'creation' had come to life. Lol.

I didn't find last night's offering as funny as the first two episodes of this new series, but I think I'm on my own if you look at other reviews out there.

There were some genuinely hilarious moments though- Jay falling off a motorbike and into an open office door, Will dumping Kerry in the worst way possible and Simon swearing like he's got tourettes to Tara's swearing-hating parents are just a few that spring to mind.

Next week looks set to be a blinder as well- I can't believe we're already half way through this series. Guys, I salute you and your uncomfortable adolesence that continues to make me pee my pants each week with laughter.

The X Factor: Bootcamp Review

Has Rebecca Ferguson got The X Factor?! Copyright ITV

Wow Bootcamp was intense wasn't it?! I'm loving The X Factor at the moment with all the drama and the return of Brian Friedman to our screens!

Despite looking beyond weird in a ill-fitting combat jumpsuit with a massive hood, he was fun to watch, much like Louis who was on fine form in tight jeans, complete with retro quiff for all of Bootcamp.

Nah, I can't really be mean about Louis- I do feel for him getting the Over 28's this year. Give the poor guy a break- he always gets the Jedward's and never the Leona's!

The Cheryl and Dannii groups were a joke as well, both have had them before- why not shake it up and give Chezza the groups and Dannii the girls?

Anyway, enough about the judges let's move onto my stand out contestants who have made it through to the final 32.

Girls
Rebecca Ferguson- Aww I love Rebecca, this gal is bringing glamour back to The X Factor with her false eyelashes and elegant dresses. An amazing voice and personality to go with it- she's one of my favourites in this show.

Katie Waissel- I'm not sure about Katie, I think she may be a grower. She looks like she's trying too hard at times and her sense of style is a bit all over the place. There's quirky love and then there's looking like you've escaped from the funny farm. My money is on her making it through to the live shows though...

Cher Lloyd- Not her best performance on the night in my eyes but her swagga style continues to win me over. Military jackets, cargo pants, wedge boots and beehived hair make her stand out from the crowd- a shoo in for the live shows.

Gamu Nhengu- My absolute favourite. Her rendition of Make You Feel My Love was stunning- it reduced poor Louis to tears! She's so cute with her style choices and I love her signature flower in the hair. If she doesn't make it through, I will stage a protest!

Check out Gamu's official Bootcamp audition below

Groups
Husstle- I totally feel like I've gone back in time to the Hear'say Popstars days when I look at these girls, but there's also something a bit current about them too- say a British version of the Pussycat Dolls? They're one of the best groups in the comp though, so they get a big thumbs up.

Princes & Rogues- Erm, I dunno what to say really. Geek chic has been done boys, but who knows they may just surprise me.

Over 28's
Storm Lee- What a Legend is all I can say- his Bootcamp audition was amazing. I remember thinking he was average in the auditions, but liked him as a person; how wrong I was. He's unique, quirky and I'm loving the trilby collection he keeps wheeling out at each stage of the comp. Brilliant.

Check out Storm's official Bootcamp audition below

Mary Byrne- I like this lady a lot, she's got a cracking voice and a bubbly personality to match. Fashion wise? Nope, she aint going to set the world alight, but I think she has a chance of making it to the live shows.

Stephen Hunter- I just want to give this man a hug, he's a little sweetie but can you see him winning this comp? Nope... me neither.

Boys
Paije Richardson- What a travesty that this fine young fellow nearly didn't make it past the audition stage! His amazing hat complete with feather should be reason enough to put him through.

Aiden Grimshaw- He makes very strange faces when he sings, but undoubtedly the guy has stage presence. I'm not keen on his geeky glasses though, someone should have informed him that they only look good on Topman models. And even then...

So what do you think? Do let me know your thoughts and if you want more gossip check out X Factor's official page here

Cheryl Cole makes bondage cool!

Cheryl Cole in Promise This

See, I’ve been a fan of patterned and unusual tights for a while now, but now that Cheryl Cole has decided to get in on the trend, everyone suddenly thinks they are massively cool!

Ok, so granted I’ve never spent £30 on a pair of tights, like Cheryl’s fab bondage ones from Wolford, but there are fashionistas out there that will.

Cheryl's new video for Promise This

I blogged last week about Charnos and their oh- so cute bow tights, and now it seems everyone is ditching boring black for something a bit more quirky.

Well, bondage tights pretty much take the cake when it comes to being ‘out there’ so I reckon they will already be sold out following Chezza’s style seal of approval.

In case you’re wondering, my name is already on the list…

Katy Perry ditched from Sesame Street!

They’ve gone too far this time… Katy Perry in all her cleavage baring glory has been ditched from Sesame Street !

After parents apparently fumed at the producers of SS about Perry’s appearance being a bad influence, the powers which be have reportedly decided not to broadcast it.

And if you think I’m being dramatic, the video which shows KP and Elmo having a right old giggle has been removed by the user!

Never fear KP fans, I’ve posted it again from her official page. Clearly she’s not embarrassed and good on her!

It's PC gone mad once again my friends… gone mad.

LFW: Ashish’s Fast Food Catwalk

Ashish SS11...are McDonald's in fashion?!

You’ve got to love Ashish. Always one to go one step further on the runway, his London Fashion Week SS10 show treated us to fast food on the catwalk.

Bet you never thought you’d see the words ‘fast food’ and ‘catwalk ‘in the same sentence, but this one designer has seemingly achieved the impossible!

He sent cowboy boots with both the McDonald’s and Heinz Baked Beans logo emblazened all over them!

Utterly brilliant and bonkers at the same time. I know of only two women who would probably give them a go though- Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

Considering Lady G has experimented with raw meat and KP has dressed like both a banana and fried egg, they are clearly the right clientele for this kind of fashion!

Gossip Girl: Chuck and Blair's epic meeting!

Chuck and Blair in Gossip Girl: Double Identity

Woohoo, Gossip Girl is back on UK screens tonight, but that hasn’t stopped me having a little sneaky peak at the episode which aired in the US on Monday.

OMG is all I can say. It was one of the best episodes ever and considering it was only the second one of the season that’s saying a lot.

Of course the reason it was so utterly heartbreaking was Chuck and Blair’s epic exchange at the train station. I literally had tears streaming down my eyes, and before you say anything- Yes, I am very sad like that!

It’s what happens when you invest the best part of three years in a TV couple! Anyway, outfit wise- this was another cracking effort from Eric Daman.

Despite Serena parading around Paris in one very unflattering pair of blue trousers and a sparkly jacket the whole episode, Blair got to rock at least four outfits.

Without a doubt the Oscar De La Renta ruffled gown stole the show, especially when teamed with Harry Winston jewels.

THAT scene (watch above if you have some Kleenex handy) needed an epic dress and Blair looked sensational, even after she broke my heart by declaring she didn’t love Chuck anymore.

He didn’t seem to take that statement too well either, in fact he looked on the verge of tears as she handed back the stolen engagement ring to its rightful owner.

Long story… which does get explained in the episode, but everything else just paled in comparison to that one scene.

I can’t wait for this season to play out and with Chuck on his way back to NYC with new gal, Eva (bleugh!) in toe, it’s going to be catfights all the way….

Check out the Gossip Girl premiere on tonight ITV2 8pm.

It’s Official! Everyone Loves Katy Perry…

Katy Perry playing dress-up on Sesame Street. Genius!

OMG Katy Perry on Sesame Street is the most amazing collaboration ever.

Sure she loves playing up to her kinky image, but she’s also a total wacko (in a nice way) and her teaming up with Elmo is just genius.

Wearing a hugely inappropriate low cut dress for Children's TV, she’s still kept up her cheeky persona while appealing to a whole new audience. Clever girl.

She does spend a hefty amount of time chasing Elmo around a cartoon set, but when she finally catches up to him to sing, the result is like a great big hug.

It does beg the question however- Can KP do no wrong?! Number 1 albums and singles, a marriage in the works to a reformed Russell Brand and a killer body to boot?

Is there literally no-one left who dislikes Katy?! Didn’t think so…

Check out Katy’s performance on Sesame Street below and let me know what you think!

The Inbetweeners Fashion Watch: Simon's Hat

Simon's Hat has won me over! Copyright E4

There were many funny incidents on last night's Inbetweeners, more so than last week even, but for me the whole episode could not of survived without the appearance of Simon's trilby hat.

Trying to bag a new girlfriend, Simon thought that channelling Pete Doherty would be a good idea and make him cool.

But as usual, I thought Will had it spot on with his summarisation: "It was the night of Simon's date with Tara and to mark the occasion he dressed like a dick". Lol

I loved his dad's take on it too- "what's that on your head Simon?"- almost as much as Simon's sarcastic response: "Oh yeah, it's a hat! Obviously...god!"

His reactions to whenever his parents probe him are absolutely hilarious. He overreacts in a way a small child would and is more moody, in my opinion, than any teenage girl.

Onto actual events and this was the night our boys experienced pot for the first time.

For Will it meant erratic arm movements, for Jay it meant paranoia, for Neil, well he just fell asleep and in Simon's case, he made tiger noises and snogged a girl who had just been sick on his shoe.

Ahh, yes the sick girl as she will now be known. Tara, played by Hannah Tointon is a very welcome addition to the cast, and someone who actually likes Simon, so hopefully his stalking days are well over. Carli who?!

Eagle eyed viewers will recognise Hannah from her ill-fated Hollyoaks stint, you know where she played Warren's very annoying sister?

Yes, she much better suited here playing a grubby rock chick. Roll on next week when our Romeos score a double date. I Literally can't wait...

X Factor Watch: The weird and wonderful!

Double Denim: Does Aiden Grimshaw have the X Factor? Copyright ITV

This week's X Factor was the most entertaining for many reasons; Nicole from Pussycat Dolls made an appearance, a crazy lady with white blonde Gandalf hair took to the stage...oh and Chezza finally collapsed.

Then there was Savannah the bell ringer, Simon & Louis with their simultaneous giggle fits, Nicole's mucho posh outfits and the guy with who sang Gold Digger in more denim than should be allowed.

It was fab on many levels, although I did feel cheated after they built up Cheryl's malaria scare and dedicated all but 9 seconds to it!

Anyway, by far the most surreal moment was a stick insect with massive eyelashes taking to the stage towards the end of the show.

Chloe Victoria: Love or Loathe?

Now, I felt sorry for her, but others wern't so kind. Sure she overdid the tan, the make-up, the clothes, the hair (I could go on) but she could actually sing.

The attitude didn't help her, but she got through, so here's hoping she improves for bootcamp. By improve, I mean ditch all the fakery and let the real Chloe out.

My fave contestant had to be scouse Rebecca, who channelled Audrey Hepburn with her audition style. Looking stunning in a simple LBD, pearl earrings and necklace- she stole the show.

To see her audition, check out the official X Factor video below...

Bring on Bootcamp!!!!

Romeo Beckham takes first fashion steps!

With a designer for a mum and a total hottie for a dad, it makes sense that Romeo Beckham has now taken his first steps to fashion stardom.

The fact that he's only eight years old shouldn't factor into it at all right?! Ok, so I find that a bit strange...

Then again, when you've got four year old Suri Cruise helping her mum design a range of clothes and Lourdes debuting her range with Madge, maybe Romeo designing his own sunnies collection isn't that big of a deal.

A source told The Mirror: "Romeo has a real eye for fashion.

"He has strong opinions on what works and what doesn't, and has been badgering David and Victoria for months about designing his own sunglasses.

"The glasses are made especially for children and will have a cool 'RB' motif on one arm. The range was originally going to be called Bambino Beckham.

"Both Victoria and David are delighted."

Well, If I was a tween I'd certainly buy them! Here's to a whole Romeo range by the end of next year!

Wednesday Weakness: Wellies!

We're now three days into this new feature of mine and can you guess the canny literary technique I've been using?! Yes, alliteration is my tactic to make it seem more appealing. So, er, is it working? lol

Either way I've still got three more days to cover, so onto today, which is all about my fashion weaknesses.

Now, my list is pretty endless, but seeing as I am braving the perils of camping this weekend, I feel I should be practical and purchase some wellies.

By fashion law I should already have a pair of Hunters stored away for festival occasions, but alas the price tag has always put me off.

So, I've scoured the high-street for an alternative and have come up trumps with these croc patent ones from Miss Selfridge.

In at £25 they are considerably less than Hunters, but in my view just as chic... Yes these will do nicely. Sold!

Cheryl Cole as a ballerina...hit or miss?

Cheryl Cole in Promise This

The song, Promise This was debuted on Chris Moyles’ BBC Radio 1 breakfast show yesterday, but now we’ve been treated to some video images to accompany it.

Cheryl is seen dressed as a beautiful ballerina dancing her way through what looks like a mystical forest with an unnamed man.

Ooo I do love celeb videos, they just get to live out all their fashion fantasies don’t they?

I’m surprised Chezza hasn’t roped in supposed boyf, Derek Hough into dancing with her again, after all, that’s what made Parachute so appealing to watch.

That said, this new one is classic Cheryl- plenty of dancing, her looking stunning and all the females feeling jealous- job done!

What do you think?

Tuesday Ticker: Tights Please!

Continuing with the theme of what I want to buy this week, may I present Tuesday Tickler… something cute/funny/crazy that takes my fancy.

Today I’m coveting these oh-so lovely mini bow tights from Charnos. Considering I was lusting after Givenchy yesterday, it’s a good job these only come in at £5.50 a pair!

And with my favourite season almost upon us, I’m thinking of stocking up with their whole range.

Colourful and sheer will be my main purchases this winter, although I am partial to a thick pair of staple black ones- they just go with everything!

The cutesy bow ones, however, will be my teatime impulse buy today. They’ll go nicely with my black shift dress and patent heels. Yes, I’ve convinced myself…

Gossip Girl: Belles De Jour Sneak Peaks

Gossip Girl: Belles De Jour

Yes, I know all you lovely people in the US and Canada have had the pleasure of seeing the season premiere last night, but for us here in the UK we’ve still got a while to wait…

So to cheer us Brits up, here’s some fabulous CW sneak peaks of the fashion fest that is the first episode…

The first clip shows Serena and Blair discussing boys and college, but is it my imagination or does S look mighty shifty? Hmmm...

In this second clip, it may not be in character but it shows the delicious Chuck Bass aka Ed Westwick talk about filming in Paris. Swoon...

The Inbetweeners: Fashion Show Review

The Inbetweenwers: Copyright E4

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was for last night’s brand spanking new episode of The Inbetweeners.

So when 10pm rolled around I did a little cheer for the return of arguably the funniest show on TV.

What was my verdict? Well, I can confirm dear readers that Will and co. still got it!

Despite a few bits of dialogue which felt forced at the start, the combination of Jay’s hooped earrings and Neil attracting paedo Kennedy again made it a triumph.

All that was of course nothing compared to the fashion show, which saw Will compromise his morals to strut his stuff in the worst clothes ever to be seen on a catwalk.

Seriously, the most hilarious thing wasn’t the psycho in the wheelchair or even Jay’s vain attempts to become a model- it was the fashion itself.

Aside from the HORRENDOUS clothes, the LOL moment came from Simon in his speedos.

Even writing that sentence brings a tear of laughter to my eye. In a top hat, dog collar and tight shirt, the sight of Simon giving it his all on the catwalk, with one bollock hanging out next to a very tarty Carly will stay with me forever.

The ball incident will go down in history as one of the funniest moments ever. I think the fact he was oblivious throughout- despite the chill he must of felt- is what made it sooo unbelievably cringey!

One of the best episodes ever in my view… keep ‘em coming boys!

Monday Madness: Designer item I’m lusting after...

Welcome to a brand spanking new feature on my lil old blog, which gives you an insight into what I am lusting after on the high street and catwalk each week... You lucky things, you!

So to kick things off is Monday Madness, which basically vocalises my desire for something designer that is far too expensive to buy... hence the 'madness' title.

Got it? Good! Today, I'm all about this gorgeous Givenchy studded cuff from Harvey Nichols, in at a mere £390.

Yes, it's practically my month's bills, food and rent combined but hello- it's Givenchy!

So money well spent, or am I crazy to spend this kind of money on a bracelet which could easily break your jaw? You decide...

VMAs Fashion Gossip!

Lady Gaga wows in meat dress on stage at VMAs

After last year’s antics at the VMAs (you know Kanye West gate crashing Taylor Swift’s speech, Lil Mama climbing the stage while Alicia Keys performed) who would of thought this year could top it?!

As usual, Lady Gaga was the primary source of entertainment in her many outfits- the most shocking of all being a dress made entirely of meat.

Looking like Ross Noble’s stand-up incarnation had come to life, Gaga teamed her meaty dress with some furry boots and mismatched fishnet tights.

Now if she hadn’t already done the whole meat bikini thing last week for Vogue Japan it may have had more of an impact.

That said she did totally wow in a regal Alexander McQueen gown, complete with headdress and 12inch platforms, which drew gasps from the audience as she arrived with her entourage.

And when she picked up her award for Best Pop Video award she pulled out all the stops in stunning black leather Armani Prive gown.

In other fashion news, Katy Perry decided to pay homage to her hubby-to-be Russell Brand, by painting him on her nails. Bless!

Others who impressed me on the night was the stunning Florence Welch. Now, this lady is all about the quirky but last night she looked like she belonged at the Oscars.

A sweeping gold Jewel-encrusted mermaid gown totally stole the show, even though she was competing with the likes of Gaga and Perry. Way to fly the flag for the Brits Flo!

A chocolate scented handbag: Would you buy one!?

The Wonka Scented Handbag- how fabulous!

So, I got sent a very strange press release today and I'm actually thinking of taking them up on what they're promoting...a chocolate scented handbag.

I kid you not. This is not just any kind of chocolate either, this is a Wonka bar scented handbag. Lol this just made my day.

Created by Helen Rochfort, this quirky designer already counts Sienna Miller as a fan, so clearly this is something which could become a hit.

Her designs are even stocked by the likes of Harrods and Fenwicks for goodness sake, so there must be a market out there for the strange and eclectic.

The whole premise behind this particular bag is this- take the top selling Wonka design and combine it with the new 'Scratch 'n' Sniff' fruit machine handbag and you have something of an instant classic...

Well, so the press release tells me anyway. What do you think, would you buy one? With prices starting at £69, check out her other desings here.

This is England '86: Fashion Verdict

Lol in This is England '86 Copyright Channel 4

I didn’t like This is England. Sure I thought the fashion and the nitty gritty setting was fab, but the violent plot line- not so much.

Yes, I’m a total wuss when it comes to things like that, although I just bought Kick Ass, so maybe I’m getting better at accepting violence in films…

Anyway, when I heard about a follow up TV series to England , I was sceptical, but my fashion instinct got the better of me and I recorded it.

Yes recorded it- I wasn’t going to watch it live for goodness sake, ‘Don’t tell the Bride’ was on at the same time!

So what was my verdict this time around? Well, I'm loving the costumes; mod rocker fashion at its best in my view. My favourite is Lol, her boy meets girl look is bang on trend this season.

Played by the gorgeous Vicky McClure, she easily resembles Agyness Deyn today with her cropped peroxide cut and waifish frame.

Although I admire Kelly and Smell's style,I can't say it's a look I'll be trying anytime soon! Coloured quiffs, lots of piercings and Docs look amazing on the right people, but on me? Well, I'd look like I'd just escaped the funny farm.

For the period though, I absolutely love it. Who knows, I may well have been converted and watch it live next week!

Check out the official Channel4 trailer below and let me know what you think...

Last Night's TV: Ugly Betty gets ditched

Ugly Betty... ditched for a better model?

How utterly infuriating is Daniel?! If I was Betty I would have punched his lights out for ditching her for the oh-so nasty Natalie.

All of a sudden this scary biker chick has gone all Mode chic with shiny hair and a sensible wardrobe- if I was the suspicious kind, I would have said she was never into the whole punk rocker thing to begin with.

Anyway, last night’s Ugly Betty was fantastic; loving Wilhelmina showing a caring side, loving Amanda’s Matt dilemma and loving Niko being revealed as the villain of the piece.

Most of all though I’m loving Betty’s polished new look. It steps up a gear each episode and was the right time, I feel, to bring out America Farerra’s natural beauty.

Am I the only one wishing she’d get her braces off already though?! I know it’s coming, but it can’t come soon enough, so Daniel can finally realise his love for Betty.

What? Like you aren’t thinking the same thing! Anyway, the outfit of the night has to go to naughty Niko in that florescent pink bandeaux dress. As Christian Siriano would say- Fierce!

Again, if you’re a Betty novice, he appeared as himself in the last series. Geez!

Daisy Lowe Models for Biba

Daisy Lowe models for Biba

My, she's a busy bee isn't she, that Daisy Lowe?!

Between snogging the face of a certain Matt Smith and modelling for her mum's Peacock range, the gorgeous model is now the face of Biba.

Launching exclusively for House of Fraser today, the iconic brand has been given a makeover for the noughties.

Full of fabulous print dresses, rich fabrics and embellished tunics Daisy is the perfect fit for the range.

Can I have two of each please?!

I'm loving the fab leopard print looks Daisy is rocking above; how sixties chic for the modern day!

To check out the full range, more gorgeous pics of Ms Lowe and the origins of Biba click here

How much are you loving Coleen's Littlewoods Ad?!

Coleen in her role as Style Advisor

I was skeptical of Coleen's new style advisor role for Littlewoods initially, but having looked at her page online and seen the fab new ad- I am officially a convert.

It's the boot camp style advert which has really convinced me though; I find myself getting giddy each time it's on TV.

Maybe it's the soundtrack, or the absolutely gorgeous range of clothes shown, but either way I find myself navigating to Littlewoods.com on a regular basis.

And no, before you ask- I'm not on their payroll! I'm genuinely loving the face lift they've given the brand and getting Coleen on board was clearly a smart move.

After the week she's had, I seriously hope her range is a massive success and to give it a boost- watch the ad below and give me your verdict!

OMG Lady Gaga goes nude...AGAIN!

The Naked Truth: Copyright Vogue Hommes Japan

Another day, another cover which is set to shock. Lady Gaga posing naked in nothing but a 'meat bikini' for Vogue Hommes Japan.

For those of you who don't know what a meat bikini is, it is quite literally pieces of meat fashioned to look like a bikini, which in turn covers Gaga's rude bits!

As usual she's caused outrage among, well, pretty much everybody, but it seems it's the animal rights activists who are most offended by her latest fashion experiment.

PETA's president Ingrid Newkirk was quoted as saying: "Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body.

"No matter how beautifully it is presented, flesh from a tortured animal is flesh from a tortured animal.

"Meat represents bloody violence and suffering, so if that's the look they were going for—they achieved it."

Ouch! Has she gone too far this time, or is it merely Lady G doing what she does best?

One thing's for sure, there's never a dull moment with Gaga around!

H&M launches online- hurray!

As someone who shops at H&M far too much already, this may not be the best news for my credit card!

Yes, fellow shoppers H&M has finally realised how much we want to shop their stuff online and given us the means to do so.

Due to launch tomorrow, expect to see new autumn styles, party frocks aplenty and even a homeware range up for grabs.

So er.. see you at the electronic tills?!

Victoria Beckham makes Twitter fashion faux pas!

It happens to the best of us, but when you are world famous and the toast of the fashion scene, it's a wee bit embarrassing to misspell another designer's name on Twitter.

Allow me to elaborate, dear readers. Victoria Beckham tweeted a few hours ago that she was wearing her Mui Mui's.

Now if you think I've just plucked two made up words out of mid air, then this will mean nothing to you, but to those in the know, VB has done a boo boo.

But, seeing that she's a good laugh she quickly pointed out her mistake to her 100,000+ followers and said: 'Ooops!! I am wearing MIU MIU shoes!! #typingtoofast VB x'

Don't worry Victoria, we've all done it and it makes you human, which has probably just won you another 1000 followers.

Check out her fashion tweet faux pas here

Davina McCall ditches her 'grey' smalls!

Love her or hate her, Davina McCall always manages to put a smile on my face.

Whether that's a full on grin or total grimance remains to be seen, however this story did make me genuinely giggle.

She has apparently splashed out on some sexy new undies after her hubby complained all her old underwear was, quote, 'grey and comfy'.

The Big Brother presenter told Hello! Magazine that she was offended at first, but then realised he was absolutely right and went on a bit of a spree.

Now we can all rest easy knowing she has some bright and colourful underwear on each Friday night... shudder.

So... Daybreak- What do we think?

Daybreak: Rate or slate so far?

You may recall last week my scathing take on new show Daybreak and its imminent new launch; you know, where I basically said it's going to be tosh? Well, erm, seems I was right.

Alright, it's not awful- but it's bordering on it at times. I don't like the new studio, I don't like the over appreciative crew (they laugh everytime Adrian speaks) and yes, I don't like the Bleakley and Chiles combo first thing in the morning.

He looks like an old owl about to hoot each time he squints at the autocue and she never stops smiling. Seriously, never ever- I think she's incapable of frowning...

Anyway, first day fashion wasn't too bad- they both looked very grown up and professional in muted tones of grey, but admittedly Christine is gorgeous and could make a bin bag look stunning.

This morning she definitely upped the ante though in a psychedelic print sleeveless dress.

That was the best thing about the two and half hour show; I actually spent most of it on google trying to find out where it was from!

If you think I'm being harsh you should read Jan Moir's take on it for the Daily Mail.

I think she's bang on the money with her review though, and makes an interesting tanning analogy to coffee, which may make Christine think twice about flashing her pins on breakfast TV again.

What do you think though, are they a winning combination or a total waste of time?

X Factor Fashion: Cher Rules!

Cher Lloyd on X Factor- Copyright ITV

After last week's disappointing show (although I did love Katy Perry in all her sparkly wonder) X Factor was back on fine form this week.

Forget the ego-tastic judges though; this week was all about the contestants and their fantastic stage outfits.

I use the term fantastic loosely though, as we did have an Elton John impersonator early on, which at best was an awful tribute and at worse, well, let’s not go there.

No, the real star of the show this week was 16-year-old Cheryl wannabe Cher. Her rendition of Soulja Boy's Turn My Swag On was mesmerising and refreshingly different to anything that's ever been done on X Factor before.

I loved her look as well; a cross between early Cheryl Tweedy (slightly chavvy ripped jeans and messy hair) and new Cheryl- sleek in a fitted military jacket and platforms.

After Cher we were treated to Justin Bieber masquerading as 16-year-old Liam Payne, who was booted off the show two years ago for not being ready for stardom.

His goosebump-inducing rendition of Michael Buble's Cry Me a River earned a standing ovation from the Cowell and an uncertain Natalie Imbruglia.

Ahh, Ms Imbruglia. Well that was a bit of a damp squib wasn't it? After committing the ultimate faux par and arriving in the same pink dress two days running, her contribution was pretty much zilch for the whole show.

So far its been hit and miss with the guest judges, so with Pixie Lott and Nicole Scherzinger still to come, let’s hope they make a better impression than Geri and now Natalie have done.

To end the show on a high, or low whichever way you choose to look at it were two real life Vicky Pollard's.

After insulting Louis (hilarious), slamming for Natalie by not knowing who she was (mean, but funny) they then told the audience to shut up (big mistake... 3000 people booing you, no-one could've recovered from that).

Anyway, it ended up with the chavtastic twosome (complete with horrible furry boots, I might add) having a bit of a punch up and being pulled apart by Simon's military team. Hehe.

Bring on next week I say!

VB joins Twitter!

Victoria Beckham on Twitter- love it!

If I had to pick one celeb to idolise to the point of obsession it would be Victoria Beckham.

She's most definitely had her fair share of stick in the past, but now she's a celebrated fashion designer world over, well, people have started to really take notice of VB.

So much so, that the minute she joins Twitter, it's considered news. So why am I blogging about it here then?

Why because of her first tweet of course- 'The airport is my runway!!!' What a fantastic thing to say.

No-one does airport chic quite like VB; sky high Louboutins, a tailored jacket and a pair of tiny denim hotpants was her outfit of choice when she landed at Heathrow.

She is someone I will most definitely be following closely, especially when she has someone like Eva Longoria welcoming her to the Twitter scene!

Lady Gaga Channels Lady Liberty!

Lady Gaga as Lady Liberty- Copyright V Magazine

I am loving this new look for Lady Gaga! Not only does she look semi-normal, but it's such a brilliant concept, I have no idea why no-one's thought to do it sooner.

In the pics, shot for V Magazine by legend, Mario Testino, my fave Lady is seen parading around in her undies and with hair modelled to look like Liberty's infamous crown. Genius.

She's also seen being pushed around in a trolley by Marc Jacobs in one shot, with a makeshift torch and very very high shoes.

I suspect these may be the very same shoes which saw Gaga take an embarrassing tumble last month. Now it all makes perfect sense.

Gossip Girl: Fashion Night Out Filming!

Er.. did you invite her?! Picture courtesy of GossipGirlFan

With only eight days to go until the new season kicks off, I’ve just had a minor heart attack seeing the new pics of the cast on set.

Rumoured to be taking place in episode six, not only is Project Runway legend Tim Gunn involved in some way, but Jenny is back… and she’s been papped having a showdown with Chuck and Blair.

Picture the scene… Jenny, the shamed school girl who has been deflowered by former mentor and rival Blair’s ex-boyfriend, who she still has feelings for- Chuck, all standing together in one uncomfortable moment.

Awkward wouldn't even begin to cover it...lol

Anyway enough about that, let’s talk about the clothes! Serena’s been papped wearing trousers (OMG) but just when I thought she’d turned a corner, she teamed it with a v. low cut top.

Jenny looked as skanky as ever with her bleached locks and stripper shoes, but that navy blue sparkly dress was pretty sensational.

As for Blair, well she looked absolutely stunning in a Victoria Beckham design, finally proving why she is the Queen of style on this show.

Fashion Love v.s Hate

Seeing as it's Friday, I thought I'd have a little scout around the internet to see what I'll be putting in my trolley this weekend...

Here's what I rate and what I'm not afraid to slate (I swear I wasn't trying to rhyme there!)

Loving: Faded florals

Faded Floral Dress, £42, Miss Selfridge

I think this is the perfect trend to transcend into AW10; it’s still pretty enough for you to not be drowned in greys and blacks, yet edgy enough to make an impact.

Hating: Tartan

J.W. Anderson Tartan blanklet, £243, ASOS

Yawn. Its had its day, Henry Holland made it go day-glo and it still did nothing for me. The skirts, in particular, reminded me of Catholic school girls and that can never be a good thing!

What do you think of the new Daybreak line-up?

Adrian Chiles & Christine Bleakley reunited! Copyright ITV

Well, well avid ITV viewers, GMTV is about to disappear forever and be replaced with a brand new shiny show called Daybreak.

I know... I'm not keen on the name either. I'm even less keen that they ruthlessly ditched all the presenters to make way for some new happy people who look too glossy to be real.

Ok, so Adrian Chiles isn't exactly shiny, but Christine Bleakley?! My god that woman is far too happy for breakfast TV.

Having watched GMTV for most of my teenage and adult life, I'm kind of sad that it's coming to an end, and having never watched The One Show I have no idea what to expect from the new line-up.

I'm told they're a great combo together, but from that nauseating advert with Chiles in his undies, well I'm not holding out much hope.

If you think I seem grumpy it may be from seeing the new promo shot above. It may just be me but don't they look a bit too smug?

Give me sarcasm, unfunny jokes and Richard Arnold any day- yes, it's only since he's left that I've realised how much I liked him!
