X Factor Trend: Headscarves

Cher Lloyd on X Factor last night: Copyright ITV

What is it with these celebs and their crazy trends?! First the I'm a Celeb lot rocked pink bandanas and now X Factor starlets Katie and Cher are championing headscarves.

Cher sported not one, but two on last night's show, in addition to wearing one all week for rehearsals and Katie has been a fan since day one.

Even Cheryl has been papped in a headscarf fashioned into a headband- maybe it's her copying her acts and their looks, rather than the other way around?!

I smell a major accessories trend brewing for winter if this lot carry on rocking the catwalk looks.

Rebecca can do no wrong with anything she wears and Cher is young enough to pull even the most horrendous colour combos off.

Katie meanwhile is looking more and more strange each week in my view. I'm not a fan or her new haircut or style, but hey- if it's keeping her in the comp, then good luck to her.

Who will go tonight on the double eviction? Well, it's got to be Wagner's time hasn't it? and I have a hunch that a fight between Cher and Katie for a place in the semi-finals may shock everyone.

Let me know what you think!

I'm a Celeb Trend Alert: Bandanas!

Gillian McKeith in her bandana!

It started when Alison joined the I'm a celeb jungle and now all the campmates have got in on it... wearing a pink bandana.

They, by the way, were last in fashion when All Saints were massive in the charts, so for bandanas to now find their way back onto our screens is quite a big deal.

Ok, so I singled out the only fashion movement to come out of the past two weeks, other than Gillian's teeny tiny shorts- and the less said about that, the better- but still, could bandanas now be big again?!

To be honest, the trend kind of got killed for me once Gillian started wearing one and it nearly covered her entire face. Then again... maybe they do have a place in society after all!

Monday Fashion Alert

Katie debuts a new look on X Factor: Copyright ITV

Katie is still in X Factor: It seems image really is everything and let's be honest, she had nothing left to lose by changing her style yet again. A short boyish crop and an array of baby doll dresses certainly says: "I'm sweet, innocent and defenceless- please don't vote me out." Call me cynical, but it definitely worked this weekend.

Gillian fainting on I'm a Celeb: I don't know about you but I couldn't stop laughing, which under the circumstances means I'm either a very mean person OR Gillian has irked me and millions of others beyond belief. I'll go with the latter, if only because she clearly has a thing for medic Bob and wears indecently small shorts. Ew.

Get Kate's ring on QVC Less than a week since the Royal engagement was announced and QVC have already made a replica of Kate's engagement ring. Fast work, I'm sure you'll agree! "The Princess Simulated Sapphire Ring" by Kenneth Jay Lane is available for a mere $39.54. Shame Wills didn't think ahead, he could've saved himself a fortune!

Olivia Palermo to get own TV show: Yes, she with the incredible glossy hair has managed to land herself a new gig after The City was axed. “I’m currently working on a TV project, my own show," she announced via Elle.com Ooo secretive much?!

Emma Watson sparkles in Harry Potter

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Copyright Warner Bros.

I was literally counting down the months, days, hours, minutes and seconds until the new Harry Potter was released- and thankfully it was definitely worth the wait!

Forfeiting Saturday night's X Factor and I'm a Celeb, I headed to the cinema to see the first part of Deathly Hallows and it did not disappoint; Harry and Hermione in a near naked kiss (that was shocking!) Ron getting jealous, a snake jumping out of an old woman (terrifying btw!) climaxing with Voldemort stealing Dumbledore's wand.

All in all a fantastic two and half hours of entertainment; I found myself wanting it to go on longer, if only so I could see more of Emma Watson's campsite style.

Only she could make corduroys, puffa jackets, mittens and woolly cardigans look trendy. I loved her lumberjack shirt and jeans combo too; the ultimate in runaway chic.

Joking aside, it is a real testament to Emma that she can be put in anything and still sparkle. Same with Daniel and Rupert- homemade knitwear and tatty jeans are bound to be a hit thanks to these two!

Then again any street cred Daniel had was totally removed when he appeared on screen in a lacy bra.

Yes, you read rightly; Daniel Radcliffe, the uber fit star of the show wears the fetching lingerie in an early scene. Thankfully it was part of a rouse where all of Harry's friends transformed into him to throw off the Death Eaters. Phew!

With an agonising eight months to go until the final installment, the signs are very promising. I already want to go and see it again, and I'm sure many other fans feel the same!

Fashion TV Watch: Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl: Photo from TV Fanatic

I don't know about you, but I am loving season four of Gossip Girl. After flagging last year, it is back with a bang, especially if last night's episode is anything to go by!

My eternal love goes to ITV2 for playing the episode a mere two days after it airs in the US, as the Witches of Bushwick was not to be missed.

When it comes to fashion romances, there are none so great as Chuck and Blair, who consider naming designers in a frantic frenzy some kind of kinky foreplay.

Both so effortless stylish, with a touch of old age Hollywood glamour about them- they are simply delicious to look at on screen together.

How hot was Blair when she unzipped her dress and went to Chuck's party in her underwear?! For two sinners to go up in flames like that in public was an AMAZING moment in GG history.

Anyway, to the sub plot- three witches drawn together to take Serena down. Juliet, Vanessa, and Jenny all have a score to settle with the blonde one and boy, did they hang her out to dry.

I loved Serena's Carolina Herrera dress she wore to the masked ball by the way; so delicate and pretty. Maybe they were trying to show her vulnerability in this episode?

It didn't show any leg and hardly any cleavage, which for Serena is practically a cry for help!

Being shunned by Nate, Dan & Blair was one thing, but to be bungled off in a taxi by the evil Juliet? Surely a step too far?!

Who knows, but one things for sure- Gaslit, episode 10 of season four is sure to be a blinder. XOXO

Forget the ring, what will Kate wear on the big day?!

So, unless you live on Mars you'll be well aware that Prince William and Kate Middleton have announced they are to marry early next year.

Hurrah! I personally feel like I've been waiting for this news forever, and so do most of the world's media, if the headlines are anything to go by.

What I'm most interested in though is who Kate will choose to wear on the big day, and will she cover up or flash a bit of flesh?

This could well be the biggest fashion event of the spring next year, so she'll have to get it right.

Rumours of British designers have already been thrown into the ring- a mere 12 hours after the news was announced and people are already taking bets; it's THAT big a deal.

Fashion experts have predicted a couture dress, complete with a high neck, that should both be demure, yet stylish. Eek! The girl is in her twenties, give her a strapless fairytale gown if she wants!

Check out Brides.com for some amazing sketches by wedding designers, showing their vision for Kate. Not a high neck in sight. Phew.

Cheryl does a Princess Leia!

The Verdict: Cheryl's hair crazy or not?! Copyright ITV

Forget the whole Katie vs Aiden debacle last night, all I could think about was why on earth Cheryl chose to imitate Princess Leia crossed with Lady Gaga?!

Anyone have a clue what that wacko hairstyle was about?! She really isn't edgy enough to pull something like that off, but on the plus side- I loved that dress.

Uber sexy and quite chic too, it was in my view Cheryl's best outfit of the series so far. If only she hadn't ruined it with children's TV hair, who knows it might have been her best outfit of her X Factor career!

Anyway, Dannii didn't fair much better in a leopard print jumper dress, which was nice but not as flattering as it should have been. A bit too dull for the results show Dan, especially when Chezza got her legs and cleavage out!

As for the controversial vote, well my mouth was wide open for at least an hour after the result was read. Never in a million years did I think Waissel was staying.

She looked shocked too, as was the whole of Twitter apparently, with millions of people voicing their anger and disbelief that she was staying for another week.

Much like Wagner really. Even Louis is looking embarrassed now that he's still in, but someone out there must really really like him. God knows what will happen if someone like Rebecca or Matt get kicked out because of him though...

Roll on next week, and hopefully a more interesting show. Take That, Westlife and JLS just about made up for Saturday's bore fest. Who will entertain me next week, I wonder?!

The X Factor: Dannii wows in Grecian gown

Singing for survival again? Copyright ITV

I was a bit bored of X Factor last night. The tantrums, the voting saga and the sniping judges really got on my wick, and that was before any of the contestants came on.

When they did make an appearance, it was only really One Direction and Rebecca who had it in the bag on the night, while the rest just got on with it without really making an impression.

As for the judges, Dannii of course came out on top in a Grecian-style one shoulder white gown, complete with stunning turquoise earrings, while Cheryl squashed up her cleavage in a long gold dress.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great and add into the mix a messy ponytail and half-hearted plait at the front and Cheryl is in real danger of losing her style crown forever.

On to the contestants' style this week, and funnily enough this is where Katie excelled. Headscarf, vintage jeans and a leather jacket looked great on the quirky one. So-so song, but lets be honest- she's on her way out this weekend anyway.

Mary too looked great last night in a midnight blue gown, complete with jewel encrusted headband.

Paige was oh-so cute in a bow tie and pink jacket, but even that couldn't save him from a bad performance on the night. Vocally he was off, but that smile wins me over every time.

I can't remember what Matt wore, but that's to be expected- he's very much the singer rather than the style icon. Whereas One Direction manage to get the balance right every time and are my new favourites to win.

They will face stiff competition from the lovely Rebecca though, who is faultless each week in both style and substance. Her beige 60s shift dress was gorgeous and as always classy- you know she'll land a modelling contract at the end of this process.

Cher looked nice as well, with newly regrown eyebrows and less eye make-up. Very pretty despite the space age pants and jacket; god knows what the stylists are thinking each week!

Speaking of crazy styling- Wagner in a gold tail jacket...there are no words.

Lastly, we come to Aiden, who looks good in most things but a silvery jacket? Nope, not even he could pull that monstrosity off.

All in all, a pretty dull week for my usually faultless favourite show. Lets hope they up the ante next week!

Daily Fash Update

Emma Watson vision in velvet: Bye bye Hermione and hello grown up vamp! That was the message Emma Watson delivered last night in an asymmetric velvet dress, by Vionet, accessorised with a poppy and sultry dark lips. The gorgeous Harry Potter star was reunited with her co-starts Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe in Claridges, ahead of the star studded premiere in London tonight.

Emma Watson at the Deathly Hallows premiere, NOW!

Jason Wu launches bridal line: The divine Jason Wu is to launch his first bridal line and you can bet the A list will be lining up in their droves! You may recall he came to fashion prominence thanks to Michelle Obama in the first instance and now there is no stopping him.

Katie is still wearing that wig: I know I mentioned this two days ago, but seriously she's been papped in it again! I've now come to the conclusion that it may be her own hair, which worries me slightly as I'm sure I saw birds nesting in there.

Carol Vorderman thinks she's VB! Ahh Carol, we get that your a fan of the gorgeous Victoria Beckham, but four dresses on the trot? Stalker...

The Apprentice: Alex wins my heart!

The Apprentice's Alex Epstein: Copyright BBC

I absolutely loved this year’s ‘boob’ (remember James McQuillan last year?!) contestant, Alex Epstein. He was without a doubt a total gent who clearly has a bright future in comedy.

Honest, funny and cuddly, Alex only really came on my radar in week two when he was the victim of Melissa’s misdirected rage.

The poor guy looked like he’d been slapped in the face, and after then he became my firm favourite. I was made up nasty Paloma got the boot last week for laying into him (unfairly in my view) in the boardroom.

Lord Sugar didn’t like that form of bullying and sent her packing, but this week Alex had no escape and talked his way into being fired.

He could not admit his mistake, praised his whole team, and then brought the wrong one back in the boardroom. He then proceeded to yell/scream like a small child at Chris when he continued to talk over him.

I loved his cute array of ties though, which were always too short and his puddle coloured suits were adorable too.

Basically Alex isn’t a business man, but he is a little fashion icon in the making and will no doubt land a TV gig in the next few months.

Comedy (albeit comedy where people laugh at him rather than with him) is undoubtedly his forte.

As for who is left, well I think Stella v Liz is a safe bet for the final, even if they both get orange-er with each passing week; I won't hold that against them.

Christmas Fashion Adverts: Which is Best?

Marks & Spencer's Christmas Advert 2010

For me, I know it’s getting close to Christmas when all the adverts come on, full of beautiful people looking happy.

The ultimate one has to be M&S, who make it like a massive movie production, but I have to admit this year, I’ve seen a few which may well threaten their crown.

So here’s my Top 5…

M&S: Hiring Peter Kay was a stroke of genius by the M&S execs, who never get it wrong with their Christmas adverts. Quality is the key with Twiggy strutting her stuff alongside Lisa Snowdon and Dannii Minogue, while Peter teaches our gals how to dance. Brilliant.

Boots: I’ve not seen the definitive Xmas ad yet, but the one where all the girls are getting glammed up in the call centre for a night out is definitely a giggle.

Matalan: when I assumed it was a John Lewis advert, you know Matalan have come up trumps with a quality ad. Based around some nosy children opening a box in the garden, everyone is soon kitted out in the most fashionable attire, while snow gently falls around.

Littlewoods: This company is on a roll with Coleen on board and what a great song to play, while a load of woman hunt around a mysterious mansion at midnight for gifts. Unexpected hit, thanks to adding the The Nightmare before Christmas to their soundtrack.

TK Maxx: Innovative, yes, but didn’t they do the whole gifts out of paper last year? Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m convinced they have recycled last year’s ad!

So which is your favourite? Cast your vote now!

Tuesday Fashion Alert

The title says it all really, so here goes...

The Queen is now on Facebook: How is this fashionable? Are you kidding me, it’s the bloomin’ Queen! I wonder if she’ll accept my friend request…

Clarks are Cool: For those of us one step behind the times, Clarks is one step ahead as it becomes uber trendy without even trying. That’s right the fashionistas have been flocking there all of their own accord. We reckon Florence ’s Glasto boots (see below) may have something to do with this new trend.

Clarks' Orignal Desert Boot: An instant hit!

Katie’s wig: The live show was two nights ago, so why is Katie still wearing her clown wig to the Pride of Britain awards yesterday?

Marni launch vintage collection online: Now on the face of it, this is great news. When you find out that it’s pieces from their 2002 collection and they have actually priced them higher than they were eight years ago, it actually makes you want to cry.

X Factor: Most uncomfortable viewing ever?!

Katie Vs Trayc in the sing-off: Copyright ITV

So, that was uncomfortable last night. Wagner through yet again, Cheryl refusing to vote and er, Katie collapsing on the floor literally begging to stay in.

Yes, it's the latter which I'm referring to as being the most cringey thing I've viewed in the past year, and don't forget I watch Wagner perform each week!

Katie's apparent breakdown saw her forget the words, swear and sink to her knees pleading for the judges to not give up on her.

Desperate doesn't even begin to cover it, with Twitter going mad condemning her antics. I loved her dress, though; never let it be said I don't give a compliment where it is due.

Anyway it worked, she was saved to massive boos while Trayc was sent home. She who finally got her styling right and could sing the best, was booted off in favour of quirky/unstable Katie.

World gone mad me thinks. Anyway, onto the fashion on the night and Dannii once again came up trumps.

Rocking a black corseted dress from Dolce & Gabbana she looked stunning, while Cheryl got it oh- so wrong (again) in a short gold number, which appeared to be missing half a shoulder.

Yes, yes I know it was 'fashion' but come on pet, you're the style guru we look to, and if you can't make it work, then what hope do we have?!

Here's to next week and what Katie will pull to try and stay in once again...

Leighton Meester lands Vera Wang deal

Leighton Meester in Gossip Girl: Image Copyright ITV

My fave Gossip Girl is clearly making waves in the fashion industry; she's just landed a big gig as the face of Vera Wang's new fragrance.

After fronting lines for Reebok and Herbal Essences, this is a major career high for Leighton, showing just how popular the young actress has become.

WWD first reported the news last week that the lovely Leighton would be shooting the campaign in Manhattan last weekend, with images not hitting magazines until next summer.

The youthful fragrance won't be available to buy from department stores until SS11, just as Leighton will be finishing up shooting S4 of Gossip Girl.

Her co-star Blake Lively may be winning the plaudits of the fashion world for her style but clearly Leighton is one step ahead of her rival, by landing one of the biggest campaigns for next season.

No doubt Blake will respond with a big campaign of her own, but until then it's Leighton who wins this round. Let the games begin...

Simon Cowell in specs: Hot or not?!

I almost forgot to mention the best moment of X factor last night- seeing Simon Cowell in his specs.

The Music Mogul will no doubt get some stick for his choice of glasses, which looked more Harry Potter than multi-millionaire style icon.

Because that's what Simon sees himself as. He's vain and likes to takes care of his appearance.

He does have the X factor in every way, but now I've seen him in this light, I'm not sure I can ever look at him the same way again!

What do you think? Did Simon let himself down with his choice of plain specs? Check out the Daily Mail's coverage here

Anne Hathaway wears Balmain on Elle!

Anne Hathaway in Balmain: Copyright British Elle

I first fell in love with Balmain two years ago when they gave me sparkly party dresses and brought shoulder pads back into fashion, and now it seems everyone has caught up with me!

Their sparkly gold number has already graced six magazine covers this year and now it's set to feature once again on Elle's December issue.

The lucky wearer of the low cut, sequined number is none other than the gorgeous Anne Hathaway, who has well and truly shed her good girl image in this sexy party frock.

She must be feeling a little put out to know that it's already featured on the likes of Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford though.

That said, when a frock is this hot to trot, of course German, Indian and Spanish Vogue, not to mention Harper's Bazaar will be well onto it!

What do you think of Anne's look for December's Elle?

Susan Boyle: Style Icon!

Susan Boyle on Piers Morgan's Life Stories. Copyright ITV

I got a shock on Saturday night when I watched Piers Morgan's Life Stories- it featured none other than Susan Boyle, aka the Hairy Angel.

Only, she wasn't hairy. She was radiant in a fitted pink dress, perfectly quaffed hair and subtle make-up. Gone were the bushy eyebrows, the crazy fashion sense and the home dyed hair.

In her place was a rather nice woman who giggled throughout, made the audience laugh and set the record straight about her 'mad' antics.

Her rise to fame hasn't been of much interest to me, to my mum maybe, but me- well I watched her audition and followed her to the final, but then lost interest. Every other person in the world though, well they just lapped her up.

She appeared on Oprah, sang for the Pope and had the biggest selling album of 2009. Not bad for someone who was nearly laughed off stage at the BGT auditions.

Anyway, I watched it not really caring too much about her story and found myself admiring her style and her poise.

Like Cheryl Cole a few weeks ago, she knew where to be guarded when difficult questions came her way, and like Chezza no doubt certain people will be lapping up her style from that hour long show.

Susan Boyle Christmas No.1 has quite a nice ring to it don't you think? Either way, Simon Cowell's not going to risk another fiasco like last year is he? X Factor or Susan, he's on to a winner here...

X Factor Fashion Watch: Who rocked and who did not...

Rebecca Ferguson: Gorgeous in gold! Copyright ITV

My Saturday night really consists of two things; Wine and X Factor. So with both of them present last night, I settled down to watch the best show on TV for a whole hour and a half.

Yep, this was indeed the first night where it wasn't over two hours long, because now we are down to the final 10, as everyone kept reminding us.

Basically it means these people who we have grown to love and hate in equal measure are the best in the country for musical talent and style. Yeah right.

Rebecca is clearly the most polished and is destined for a career both in the music and fashion industry long after X Factor is finished.

As for her mentor, Cheryl, well I was most disappointed with her fashion offering last night. A tacky black dress complete with what looked like a lopsided pom pom in her hair.

This is the girl who everyone wanted to look like only last year, but now she seems to be a victim of her own success and has very rarely got it right in this series of X Factor.

Dannii on the other hand continues to go from strength to strength, looking elegant and chic in a gold knee-length dress.

Back to the contestants, and Cher looked really quite pretty in her pink biker jacket last night, but that wasn't enough to save her from Simon Cowell's bad comments; she looked like she had swallowed a lemon, when universal praise didn't come her way.

As for Katie, well, I thought she looked fragile rocking head-to-toe leather and a beehive on her head. The performance itself was disappointing, so it's safe to say she may be in the bottom two once again tonight.

Trayc too was a bit dull on the night, but looked stunning in a Grecian style gown and monster bling necklace.

Paige however was all sparkle and smiles with his outfit; a purple tux complete with gold waistcoat and pink bow tie. He's like a little ray of sunshine and his mash-up had everyone dancing; I hope he stays for a few more weeks.

Paige Richardson: Little ray of sunshine! Copyright ITV

One person who doesn't need to worry is Matt of course, who received a standing ovation for his performance- but who the hell styled him?! Camel harem pants with a denim shirt? No, no, no!

Aiden similarly looked a bit of a muddle with an ill-fitting white shirt and black pants, but I loved his song choice. As Simon said, he's back in the game!

Louis may have cause to panic this week though, as Mary failed to deliver last night. Looking tired and stressed, she seemed distant and about to burst into tears at any point- could the Wagner story have anything to do with that I wonder?

Wagner himself performed some Elvis hits in a replica white catsuit (of course) to some clapping and surprisingly, some boos too.

He could finally be heading home this week, but I find it very rude that Cheryl doesn't clap anymore or give any constructive comments. He's in because the public clearly like him, go knows why, but hey, as Louis keeps reminding us- he's entertaining!

Lastly One Direction, aka my new inappropriate crushes, were fabulous jumping around stage to Kids in America with a load of cheerleaders.

One Direction: Every teenage girl's dream! Copyright ITV

Begrudgingly, I admitted last week I was wrong about the boys and I stand by that this week-they can sing, they are entertaining and at this point I think they are destined to come either first or second in the comp.

Don't forget it's the tweens who vote and who ultimately have the power. Why the heck to do you think Justin Bieber is as massive as he is?! Point proven.

I'll be tweeting live when tonight's eviction airs, so don't forget to follow me at whatserenasaw

Poriot: Hallowe'en Fashion

I know it’s not cool. I’m the first to admit that, but I love Poirot. He’s just the most incredible creation on TV- so self important, yet so lovable.

Anyway, it’s been a while since I’ve had a new mystery to pour over (the box set is getting a little worn now) so thankfully ITV answered my cry with a Halloween special aired last Wednesday.

Due to scheduling conflicts, what with The Apprentice, Gossip Girl and Ugly Betty all airing around this time, it was recorded for my viewing pleasure to watch this weekend.

Gothic fashion at its best I would say. Poirot once again solved a tragic triple murder, well four if you’re going to be finickity about it, while looking fab in patent leather boots.

You see Poirot can’t wear anything other than the best, even when he can’t walk in them, he insisted on wearing said shoes to roam around looking for clues.

The result was tremendously funny and it reminded me how feminine he has always been. We squeezed ourselves into girdles, corsets and high heels, while he wears uncomfortable stiff collars and boots to maintain his image.

I’ve often thought I was born in the wrong era; everyone was so glamorous in the 30s and 40s. Everyone wore a hat, had perfectly quaffed hair and matching red nails and lips were considered essential day wear, whereas today the norm is wandering around supermarkets in PJs...

Here’s to the next Poirot mystery to grace our screens, and with yet more big names featuring it is sure to whip up a vintage fashion frenzy!

The Apprentice gets fashionable!

Paloma gets the boot! Copyright BBC

A friend text me tonight and said, "This episode of Apprentice is right up your street, so I expect to see lots of fashion blogging".

So, here we are dear readers. A bit of blogging about The Apprentice this week and how it went all fashionable up in Manchester.

Cue some slagging off about those up North from Jamie; apparently we're so far behind London we still wear shoes in nightclubs. Colour us stupid, or you know, him stupid for saying such a ridiculous thing in the first place.

Anyway onto the actual fashion itself, and scary Paloma lead one team of twits into picking men's suits recycled into er, men's suits and some cutesy dresses which went down a treat.

Liz, aka the Sales Queen lead the other team, opting for glitzy frocks and vintage attire, which just so happened to secure them victory.

God knows how, what with Tanorexic Liz modelling the clothes and Stella waving like a maniac in the window display, but hey sequined goodies speak for themselves, as does an additional 20% off when you buy... Barbie-like she may be, but stupid she is not!

I spent most of the hour, coincidentally, trying to spot myself wandering around the Trafford, but alas it was not to be- the one day I chose to give it a miss! Gutted.

Back to the task in hand and Alex, the little gem that he is, managed to blag his team a bloomin' promo video showcasing the store on a big screen every 15 minutes, and they still lost the task.

He did look a little lost though, when he was trying to drum up business: "Hello, er, Hi girls?" Cue girlies running away in fear...

Maybe it was his hoodie-come-suit-jacket that terrified the customers away, or maybe it was his air of desperation.

Anyway, when it came down to the boardroom, Paloma royally stabbed our cutie in the back calling him an 'irritant'. Giggle.

Nick, bless him, then came to Alex's rescue with "He wasn't completely irritating, no". Bravo!

So it was nasty Paloma who got the boot, even though she is the only lady I know who can rock plum lipstick. Surely that was a reason to keep her in Lord Sugar?

No?! Ok, if you have to make it all about the business, roll on next week. Until then, check out this highlight clip from the BBC, where Nick compares Stella to a lady of the night in Amsterdam.

Fashion Website Watch: Prodigy Red

Every now and again I stumble across something which I think has the makings of something big.

ASOS or As Seen On Screen as it was known six or so years ago was one of my discoveries, and after bragging to everyone in high school, look how big it became!

Ok, so maybe it wasn’t just my contribution which made it the massive success it is today, but still, I spotted the potential there!

Anyway, my point dear readers, is this- Prodigy Red is a relatively new website specialising in recreating celeb looks for a fraction of the cost.

Fantastic copies of dresses, boots, tops and jeans worn by the crème de la crème of Hollywood are now available to buy from this website.

Check out some of the AMAZING celeb looks below and then get shopping on the ProdigyRed website. It's never too early to start searching for the perfect Christmas party dress don't you think?!

Lo totally rocks this look to perfection and with Prodigy Red's copycat look, now you can too! Image courtesy of Cherry PR

What do you think of Emma Watson’s Vogue cover?

Look who's all grown up! Copyright Vogue

She’s been eerily quiet since she chopped off her long locks, but now Emma Watson is firmly back in the limelight by gracing the cover of British Vogue.

Well timed, one might say considering the new Harry Potter is released this month, but I’m more inclined to believe it’s simply a coincidence!

Anyway, back to the cover itself- Emma looks gorgeous and oh so chic with that now well recognised crop.

She does look older than her years though with the styling- a white neck chief may hide a multitude of sins, but on Emma it is ageing.

That’s not to say I don’t like the cover, because A. It’s Vogue, I’d like it whoever they put on the cover and B. It features Emma Watson AKA Hermione. Nuff Said.

She does have a look of Mia Farrow about her on this particular cover, which lets be honest can only be a good thing.

Classic beauty with fashion icon status, or former child actor, known for her frizzy hair and bossy attitude? There’s no contest really.

What do you think of Emma’s new Vogue cover? Does she look older than her years, or is this the perfect transition for her?

JK vs Cheryl...Awkward!

JK performs on The X Factor Copyright ITV

Wow, that was awkward last night wasn't it?! And no I don't mean Wagner sailing through to a round of boos, I am of course talking about JK's snub by the judges.

Judging by how Twitter exploded last night, it wasn't just me who noticed the freezing cold reception the judges gave Jamiroquai after he performed.

Normally the fab four rise to their feet and applaud full smiles at the guest act... this week, only Simon half clapped, while Dermot awkwardly asked if he knew any of the judges.

All was revealed soon after; JK had supposedly said some mighty unflattering things about our Dannii and Cheryl, not to mention about the show he was actually featuring in, and then still had the nerve/guts/stupidity to go and perform.

In other X Factor news, Dannii trounced Cheryl in the fashion stakes once again in a simple black sequined number, while Chezza ended up looking like a Quality Street sweet.

Pink and purple, combined with red hair?! No, no, no. Also Belle Amie got the axe after an out of tune, out of time and out of style performance, which left them with the lowest public vote.

Up against Katie, who for some reason decided to go barefoot to sing for survival, it was clear the girl group couldn't really compete with her quirk.

Roll on next weekend I say!
